Where does your produce come from?

Fun (or not so fun) Fact:
Most produce you get in the grocery store travels an average of 1500-2000 miles before it gets to the store and arrives after it’s been picked already for 5-7 days. ??
This leaves it with up to 40% less nutrients. Then when you over cook produce you lose even more of the nutrient make up and change the composition of the fruit or vegetable.
So not only are you getting the chemicals they put on them but you’re getting robbed from nutrients before you even start!!
Solution: Grow your own and eat what’s local and in season. It’s why I love my garden!! You can also buy frozen. (Frozen produce is typically flash frozen right away before losing it’s nutrients)
It’s also why we NEED to supplement!!! It has made ALL the difference for us!!
