Apple Pie Oatmeal

Processed with VSCO with c1 preset

1 Small Granny Smith Apple chopped in about ½ inch pieces (No need to peel)

½ cup rolled oats (not quick cooking)

1 cup water

1 tsp. cinnamon

1/8 tsp. ginger powder

2 Medjool dates pitted and finely chopped

½ tsp. vanilla

2 tbsp. chopped walnuts

2 tsp. hemp seeds

Add apples, oats, water, dates and cinnamon to a small pot. Bring to a boil. Lower heat and simmer 5-7 minutes until apples and oats are soft. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and walnuts. Top with hemp seeds.
